The Halliwell Jones Stadium, the home of Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club, will stage its first ever Four Nations match, when Australia take on New Zealand on the opening weekend of the 2011 Four Nations on October 30.

History

The stadium opened its doors in 2003 after Warrington moved from its original home, Wilderspool, to the new purpose built stadium in the town.

Halliwell Jones has hosted one previous international back in 2007, when a Northern Union representative side played host to the New Zealand All Golds to mark the centenary of New Zealand Rugby League.

By Car

Directions from the North

Take Junction 9 off M62 and head south towards Warrington along the A49.

After 1.5 miles, straight on through the lights with McDonalds on the right. Proceed past the Tesco Superstore and The Halliwell Jones Stadium before turning right at next set of traffic lights. At the small roundabout take the first exit on to Winwick Street and you will see the entrance to the NCP Car Park 50 yards further on, on the right hand side.
The Stadium is immediately across from the Tesco Store.

Please Do Not park on the Tesco car park on a matchday unless you have a valid pass for the game.
 
Directions from the South

Leave M6 at Junction 21 follow the A57 towards Warrington until you reach Cockhedge roundabout. Take the exit signposted, A49 Wigan.

Turn left at the next set of lights on to Pinners Brow. At the traffic circle take the first exit on to Winwick Street and you will see the entrance to the NCP Car Park 50 yards further on, on the right.

The Stadium is immediately across from the Tesco Store.

Please Do Not park on the Tesco car park on a matchday unless you have a valid pass for the game.

By Rail

The nearest station to the stadium is Warrington Central. When leaving the station turn right, you will see the Martin Dawes East Stand. Continue walking down the road and you will reach the Stadium.

Warrington Bank Quay Station is just over a mile from the Stadium, we suggest you take a taxi from the rank at the entrance, the journey should take no more than 3-5 minutes.

By Bus

Warrington Bus Station is a short distance from the Stadium, near to Central Train Station. Exit the station and turn left down Winwick Street and past Central Station (on your right) and continue down towards the stadium.
